Open Calls

Landeskogen invites artists, researchers, writers, curators, and other cultural practitioners to participate in exhibitions, residencies, workshops, and collaborative projects.

Landeskogen presents exhibitions and artistic projects through a combination of invited artists and open calls. Invited projects provide opportunities to develop curated collaborations in dialogue with artists and artistic practices that align with Landeskogen’s profile and areas of focus. At the same time, we aim to create opportunities for a broad range of artists through open calls.

We especially encourage emerging artists (artists in the early stages of their careers) to apply. Artists who are developing a distinctive artistic practice may be given special consideration during the selection process. Landeskogen aims to support new artistic voices and create encounters between established and emerging artists.

Here we present current and upcoming Open Calls and opportunities at Landeskogen. New calls are announced throughout the year and may offer opportunities to exhibit, develop new work, conduct research, and become part of our artistic and cultural environment.

Each Open Call will include information about the theme, eligibility criteria, application deadline, and how to apply.

Our residency programme offers time and space within a historic sanatorium environment transformed into a centre for art, printmaking, knowledge, and creative exchange.
